The Scherer H.D. Kernel Processor will interchange between all of the CLAAS® 800 models and the workhorse 900. The processor comes standard with sawtooth design rollers that are larger in diameter and 2 ½" longer than the OEM rollers.

New for the 2006 model are standard chromed rollers and oil lubricated bearings with an optional automatic lubrication system. There are no steps, shoulders, holes, or keyways machined in the roll shafts. All roll components are rigidly mounted so there are no rubber mounts to wear out and fail. This allows the processor to handle ALL crop lengths and process it as fine as desired, with a consistency never before seen. All frame components are either plated or powder coated to resist the harsh acidic conditions of corn silage.

Designed with simplicity and ease of maintenance in mind, the Scherer H.D. Processor has the ability to hinge open so you can lift the bearings and rollers directly out of the frame. The entire processor weighs about 200 lbs. more than the OEM model, making it a very rugged piece of equipment.
